We put your best flex-eligible player, who is playing in a later game of the week, in your flex spot. This allows you to swap this player out of your lineup should they be ruled inactive before the start of their game.
In the example below, you'll see that we recommend putting Jayden Reed in a flex spot instead of a WR spot because his game has a later kickoff time. This is recommended even though Jayden Reed (WR 7) is ranked higher than Xavier Legette (WR 41).
